Fresh and Local
Based out of Kuwait, the client is looking to connect consumers directly to farmers to order fresh produce ranging from fruits & vegetables to flowers and from dairy to meat. The farms in Kuwait are in remote locations away from the city and the client wanted to close this gap by promising delivery of fresh produce from the farm in 24 - 48 hrs. Mobile and web app design for consumers, web app for merchants and web app for admins we expected. After studying the requirement, we derived that it was necessary to have a hasslefree UX strategy for all applications so that the orders can be placed and managed easily to ensure that the delivery promise was met. We started with the designing of the applications for the consumers.
The process for the consumer, right from creating an account, browsing products, exploring deals to adding products to the cart and checking out is designed simple and quick. We moved on with the web app for the merchants. The process for the merchants from creating their accounts and profiles, updating products and offers, managing orders and delivery & viewing and downloading reports is easy to use. The admin web app design is also simple, easy and quick to use.
The UI is fresh, clean and inviting. Both these strategies ensure that the consumer would keep returning. The deliverables included brand guidelines, design system and high fidelity prototypes. The applications designs exceeded client expectations. They are currently under development.
